The firm is regularly interviewing associates experienced in civil general liability and/or medical malpractice defense litigation seeking to lateral from other law firms. We are interested in meeting with candidates with exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience attending court proceedings, interviewing witnesses and experts, taking and defending depositions.

Associate – New Jersey

The successful candidate is expected to have the following litigation functions in the areas of medical malpractice, dental and/or nursing home defense:

  • Preparation of written reports to clients and insurance companies providing a coherent summary of the relevant facts and an outcome oriented analysis of the case including providing case values;
  • Preparation of written motions and legal memoranda;
  • Appearance before judges in all New Jersey Superior courts and handle discovery conferences and oral argument of motions;
  • Conduct depositions and prepare reports on significant testimony;
  • Preparation of cases for trial;
  • Professional, succinct and responsive verbal and written communication with clients.
  • Admission to the New Jersey bar is required.

Associate – General Liability

The successful candidate is expected to have strong knowledge of the defense of businesses and property owners in premises liability, construction defect, product defect and NY Labor Law cases. The candidate should demonstrate the appropriate experience to perform the following litigation functions:

  • Preparation of written reports to clients and insurance companies providing a coherent summary of the relevant facts and an outcome oriented analysis of the case including providing case values;
  • Preparation of written motions and legal memoranda;
  • Appearance before judges in courts in New York City, Long Island, Upstate N.Y. (License in N.J. a plus) and handle discovery conferences and oral argument of motions;
  • Conduct depositions and prepare reports on significant testimony;
  • Preparation of cases for trial;
  • Professional, succinct and responsive verbal and written communication with clients.
  • Admission to the New York bar is required.

Associate – New York Medical Malpractice Defense
